Description
About the EU AI Act Toolkit
The EU AI Act is the world’s first comprehensive AI law, and it works by risk tier: prohibited practices, high-risk systems with heavy obligations, limited-risk systems with transparency duties, and minimal-risk systems left largely free. Knowing which tier your AI falls into — and proving it — is the whole game. This toolkit provides 60 templates covering the AI system inventory and risk classification, the high-risk conformity requirements (risk management, data governance, technical documentation, human oversight, logging), the transparency notices, and the governance and post-market monitoring records the Act demands. Each document is written to the Act’s obligations and timelines. Everything is editable in Microsoft Office.
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — commonly known as the EU AI Act — entered into force on 1 August 2024 and applies progressively, with key obligations phasing in through 2025 and 2026. It establishes a risk-based framework that classifies AI systems into prohibited practices, high-risk systems, and limited- or minimal-risk systems.
Organisations developing or deploying AI in the EU — regardless of where they are headquartered — must comply with obligations spanning technical documentation, human oversight, data governance, conformity assessment, and post-market monitoring. Non-compliance carries significant penalties of up to €35 million or 7% of global annual turnover, making a structured compliance approach essential.
